The six officers are all Perry miniatures and all are British, three regulars and three commanding Egyptian forces.
The three Brits commanding regulars. |
The rear view of the above (obviously) |
Chap in the centre is meant to be General Hicks |
They have a mix of British and Egyptian equipment, as is fitting imho. |
In other news:
Saturday saw my friend take on the wilds of Jimland on Saturday in a very entertaining game, which I'll be posting about sometime in the near future, hospital and Clinic appointments allowing and of course all the other real-life impediments to our hobby not getting in the way either.
Thanks for taking the time to visit and hopefully you'll have found something of interest.
That's it then for this week, as always your comments are both welcomed and truly appreciated.
Great work on the command cavalry Joe, must feel good to get them finished. Your hour a day seems to be working well for you, even with all the appointments, hope your well

DeleteThanks dave, given the limited amount of time I actually can painting (I need natural, bright light) I'm just pleased to get any painting done, but finishing
anything is really joyous to me.
Great looking command! Sounds like you're motoring along and getting a game in too!

Thanks Iain, I'd say I was more pldiing along, but hare and tortoise and all that !
DeleteBeautiful miniatures!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal, shame the brushwork isn't as beautiful as the figures.
DeleteThat should bolster the troops Joe. Great job Sir.
ReplyDeleteThanks Micahel, I'm pleased with how they've turned out - a good wargame standard I reckon and the allied forces now have the commanders they need!
DeleteThey look wonderful Joe, I have tried the hour a day painting myself but it never seems to work out for me but its doing the job for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Frank, it only works for me beacyes I hate painting and yet I know it has to be done.
