So this week's blog was delayed today by yet hospital visit (as an out-patient) with more in the immediate future (tomorrow) and at least two over the next month! Luckily I had taken a few photographs of another box from Bryan's (Vampifan's) rescued items from his collection when I photographed his wonderful card cars.
The rather plain brown box shown on the right was fairly small, but weighty and turned out to be resin, rather than metal items therein.
Here's the photographs:
An American School bus and a Mystery Machine |
Two tyre (tire ?) barricades |
And that's all I've got for this week. I'm not allowed to lift or carry, nor should I exert myself by any other means too., so goodness knows what I can come up with for next week's post!
The above items I will proably hang on to as their weight is a bit prohibitive for posting as is the nature of resin. You can probably pick these up overall a lot cheaper (and probably intact) direct from the manufacturers.
I'm also unable to continue with packing and sending off any current requests, but I will be getting around to it once I'm given the all clear.
In other news, in the very few blogs I've managed to comment on lately (including my own), I've been commenting Anonymously - not on purpose I might add and I have no idea why! Help appreciated!
So sorry for that , I'll be adding my moniker of Zabadak in future.
That;s it then for nother week, thanks, as always, for taking the time to visit and your comments are both welcomed and appreciated.
Oh, fantastic looking terrain sir!
ReplyDeletehanks you Michal, they really are good scenics
ReplyDeleteYou need to be logged into your Google/WordPress account (the obvious thing). New browsers (updates) are blocking a lot of sharing between tabs and popups. That could be an issue. Or of you have a script blocker you need to add some permissions. I think apple/safari are particularly noteworthy for people struggling to comment at all.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave. it doesn't seem to like my google account, but I'll stumble on regardless
DeleteDear Lord Joe, I have just been catching up on the news, sounds horrendous! Good to hear that you are safely home and on the mend and I hope that continues to remain the case. Take care my good man.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michae, yes it came as a shock to me too, but allis getting better each dayl
DeleteGreat looking terrain, sounds like you have to prioritise getting better, I'm sure we can all cope with a week or two before updates!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks Iain, I''ve had to cut back a lot of what I'm doing and If I can't do it from the comfort of an armchair, then it's not done!
DeleteWonderful stuff, Joe, and that school bus is excellent, I'd love to get one! Glad to know you're on the mend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt, I reckon it's a great model too, but by gum is is heavy !
DeleteHmm. It wanted for me to comment as anonymous - when I've only just commented using my google account on your last post, a minute ago. I've just refreshed the page and it's allowing me to comment as Roy Williamson again.
ReplyDeleteTechnology passed me by a decade or more ago, so I've no advice on blogger issues. I'm going to struggle when it comes to having to buy a new TV or wireless, so I ain't got a clue about a new computer.
Take care.
Roy
Thanks Roy, it just throws me out when I try and use my google account! Technlogy is wonderful - when it works!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your improving Joe, I am also discovering the new 'Anonymous' me when commenting on folks blogs....oh bother!
ReplyDeleteThanks Terry, It's not just me then that technology hates !
DeleteI'm felling better each day, but it will be quite a while before I'll feel 100%.
Nice models Joe.This seems like a retro-report from the old days when you published quite a few reports about vehicles to be used in zombie-games.Nevertheless it is very nice reading and inspirational.Very good news also that you soon will be up on your feets and without any pain or boring visits at the hospital.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ptr, they are indeed quite old models most, if not all appearing in Bryan's blog when just about everyone and his dog was playing zombies !
ReplyDeleteI doubt I'll escape future hopsital visits, they've already got me bookes for one in each of the next two months !
I've been searching around for ruined soviet cars and military vehicles in preparation for a Zona Alfa game. Suitable models are few and far between. I've also having some serious trouble commenting on blogs - it has to be a Google issue.
ReplyDeleteFrank
A few years ago thee were Russian vehicles being given away with a magazine (Agonisini?) and later they were on sale seperately, where I bought mine, but they may have been a bit modern for your designs.
DeleteI've had nothing but trouble this last week trying to comment on various blogs (even my own!).
