The plastic swords are very slim, as are the muskets and it was tricky for me with my chipolata fingers cutting them cleanly from the sprues, managing to break a couple, but there's lots of spares !
They took my Wilko spray primer without any preparation and though the detal is a little on the soft side, I reckon they're easy to paint. Maybe the 2 chaps who look like they are giving away their rifles are a little awkward but they could just as easily be hitting someone with the butt of it.

I've only assembled plastic figures once, about 60 of them and quite enjoyed getting the poses how I liked them but it was a fiddly process i must admit.

With you painting soeed these should all be complete by next week. 😀Vagabondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14031648950206231742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776165776368681924.post-77301062173321411102020-06-08T12:08:51.796-07:002020-06-08T12:08:51.796-07:00Cool! The detail is better than I expected, though some is a little 'soft' imho. The weapons, especially their wrod are very thin a little flimsy too.
With blogger if it frustrates me too much (and I hope it doesn't) then I may well find an alternative of some type. The poses all look fine from the photo's. I used to say if you can get in the pose comfortably then it's good, but I imagine much like myself these days it's not possible as the most simple of poses hurt now ! LOL
scale wise it fits in well with the British model, as the Pith helmet adds extra mm's on the British model.Dave Stonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13398737478468720431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776165776368681924.post-87951404820819785192020-06-08T07:02:00.782-07:002020-06-08T07:02:00.782-07:00Great to see these Joe as I have been tempted by t...Great to see these Joe as I have been tempted by them myself. I rather like the look of the detail. As for the Blogger changes, I swapped over to the new format last week and find it a bit frustrating. Just silly things like not having the buttons where I am used to them and something doesn't seem quite right with the photographs, but I am sure I will get the hang of it.Michael Awdryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07049982879661559305noreply@blogger.com
